Hello all after a few months of being hidden in cyberspace. The newsletter is back!!!

Several months ago I promised a review of DesignEx (Australia`s premier event). That`s past news now. And the biggest design fair across the globe, Milan 10 Design Week has just wound up and this is what`s happening ......

Remember the vertical gardens by the French botanist Patrick Blanc ?? A Milanese cafe/restaurant has built a glass conservatory and the upper walls on 3 sides are a vertical garden .... a bit like a tree house. It`s bringing the country and everything green to the city! Watch out for the vertical gardens springing up in Oz.

Haute Couture is not only for the fashionistas of clothing, now a French designer is putting beautiful fabrics on the bed. Yes silks, rouched, pleated, frilled ... it really takes the bedroom from the place of sleeping .... to the boudoir!

The house of Missoni ... an Italian husband and wife couple, she`s continuing his fabulous design legacy .... and it`s fabric, plastics and floral surfaces and it`s being made into furniure and furnishings with hot colour and prints of botanicals and geometrics. Check it out!

The latest news from Style by Penelope .... my clients and I had difficulty finding furniture with an Asian Influence theme and reasonably priced. And how do you find furniture to fit your unique spaces? House About offer a bespoke service ... made to order!
